Go live: set up your encoder. Address, port and password are filled in for your station and each has a copy button.
Set up RadioBOSS
- Open Settings → Broadcasting.
- Click the add button to create a new encoder.
- Choose server type SHOUTcast v1.
- Enter address, port and password. Leave the mount and user empty.
- Choose format MP3, 128 kbps, 44100 Hz, stereo.
- Save and start the encoder. Its status turns green when connected.
If it doesn't connect
- Check that you used the live DJ port from the panel, not your stream port.
- Check that you used the live DJ password (or a DJ account password), not the stream password from Broadcast.
- SHOUTcast v1 programs also use the next port up automatically. Make sure your firewall or network allows both.
