Broadcast settings and FTP

1 min readUpdated November 8, 2026

Stream details, stream title, FTP access and restarting your radio.

Stream details

Broadcast shows your broadcast type (SHOUTcast or Icecast), stream host and port. These are set when your station is created.

Stream title and website

Enter your station name in Stream Title and save. Players and directories show it. Stream URL is the website address directories show next to your station. It's not the address listeners play; that's your stream URL.

FTP information

Host, port, user and path for uploading music by FTP. The password is hidden; click Show or Copy.

Restart the radio service

If something seems stuck, click Restart Radio Service. Your stream is offline for a few seconds. Listeners' players usually reconnect by themselves.

Test announcement

On AI Radio plans, Test Announcement plays an announcement right away so you can check voice and volume.

AutoDJ status

Shows whether the AutoDJ is active. If it says disabled because of WHMCS suspension, there's an unpaid invoice. Pay it in the client area and the station starts again automatically.
