Live DJ accounts

1 min readUpdated November 8, 2026

Give each presenter their own password and limit when they can go on air.

Every station has a main live DJ password. For a team, create a separate account for each DJ. That way you can see who is on air and remove access for one person without changing everyone's password.

Add a DJ account

  1. Open Live DJ and scroll to Live DJ Users.
  2. Enter a Username and a Password (at least 6 characters).
  3. Optional: pick Allowed Days and a Start Time and End Time. Outside those times the connection is refused.
  4. Click Add User and send the DJ the server address, port and their password.
The DJ only enters the password in their software. The panel recognises which DJ it is from the password and shows their name while they're live.

Change the main password

Under Password Management you can set a new main live DJ password. The radio service restarts briefly (2 to 3 seconds).
